Craving Thai? This is the place! We haven’t had a dish that we didn’t like.

This place is AMAZING! The soft shell crab, sticky rice, and beef dish I had are out of this world! I don't know how they do it. Having spent time in Thailand...it brings back some good memories. Simply amazing.

I had the chicken pad Thai and the Brussels sprouts. Great presentation and very tasty food. Would recommend and plan to come back to try more.

I'm very happy Krua is open again. Everything is superb and tastes just like the food we had in Thailand. Highly recommend the massaman curry short ribs, wings, shumai, and brussel sprouts.

We have been waiting for this restaurant to open for a long time and it has been worth the wait! Gene was an very kind host. Even though the kitchen was short handed, every dish was perfect. Tom Kha soup was flavorful, spicy noodles so tasty, and basil
Chicken delicious. Portions were ample and it's obvious they take great pride in the quality. Thai food here is done well and we will be returning as soon as possible.

Great neighborhood thai spot. Best Thai food in town. Easily surpasses the old standby...Titaya's. If you are a thai food lover this is a must do. Pad see ew and curry's both stand out as excellent dishes to try.

Yes!! I have finally found a perfect pad kee mao in Austin! The dish was full of flavor while hitting all the right notes of salty, savory, sweet, sour, and spicy. Their crab fried rice was auhmazing and we were impressed with their beautiful homemade chili paste as well. I can't wait to make a second visit to this place to try more of their dishes!

Disclaimer: CALL BEFORE you go!! Their hours have been a bit touch and go as of late so make sure you call and speak to someone before making the drive.

I'm surprised to see negative reviews on this place. The atmosphere is fine, nothing fancy but the food is outstanding. We eat a fair amount of Thai food and Krua's menu is authentic yet still approachable and absolutely delicious. Service is friendly and pretty efficient. And please note, I'm not incredibly patient and I'm still saying this. Considering they're making everything FRESH/ made to order they're actually faster than most. If they happen to be packed and run over - it's cool. The food is worth the wait.

We've had Krua's wings, pork belly pak Ka nar, pad basil, cashew chicken, tom yum koong soup, and pad kra pao... ALL of these get my approval - solid picks all around.

If you haven't been - it is DEF worth visiting!! They also do takeout which is very convenient.

Awesome little spot in S. Austin. The food is a tad pricey for Thai but the flavors can't be beat. Asian food isn't the best in Austin but I must say I was impressed by the quality of the food of this place. You can judge a Thai restaurant by its pad Thai and its def the best I've tried in Austin. Highly recommend.

The cutest little Thai spot on South Lamar with THE nicest staff. We were blown away by the flavor of each dish that came out. A few of our favorites were the dumplings, papaya salad and the homemade dairy free coconut ice cream. The restaurant looks much smaller from the outside and can accommodate large groups in the back.

    We love Krua!

The girlfriend & I had been craving Thai with a vengeance & since we're new to ATX-we didn't have a clue where to go. We drove by & saw the restaurant, but it was 8:00 on a Friday night-so chances are....we wouldn't get in or there would be a long wait.
We were lucky to get right in! The place is amazing. She's vegan & they had a bunch of tasty veggie/vegan options. Best crab-fried rice I've ever had & the ribeye was perfect & the presentation on every plate was outstanding.
Hot sauce (even better, "secret" hot sauce) is our thing & they have a couple different types to kick it up a notch. We will DEFINITELY be back to this little gem!

This is a wonderful restaurant. It's very nicely laid out and the staff, host, management are extra friendly. We had Brussels sprouts, ahi tuna scoops and calamari to start. The apps were perfectly prepared and delicious. If I could have gone for four, I would have added the crispy spring rolls. I saw them at the table next to us. Envy and lust.

For entrees we had Pad See-Ew (veggie only) and Pad Kee Mow (shrimp). The winner of those two was the Pad Kee Mow. Big, fat and tasty gulf shrimp. Great flavors and the noodles were like buttah.

Great dinner in our neighborhood. Highly recommended.
